Our story· 우리 이야기

Why I built KREND.

I wanted a way to learn Korean from the things I actually read — not endless drills.

I learned languages the usual way: flashcard apps, grammar charts, streaks I kept only to lose. It never felt like the language people were actually using in songs, messages, and everyday writing. The moment I tried to read something real, I was lost in a wall of blocks I couldn't break down.

So I built the tool I wished I had — one that lets you tap any word you don't know and instantly see how it's built: the root, the particles, the ending, and what it means. Reading becomes the lesson, and every unfamiliar word becomes a small, solvable puzzle instead of a dead end.

KREND is the result: start with Kalphabet to read Hangul, meet everyday Korean in Kaily, then grow into real graded articles in Karticle — tapping any word to break it open, and collecting each one as a Kard along the way. Here's how it works.

How it works

Read it. Tap it. Remember it.

Most apps drown you in points and streaks. Krend turns reading itself into the lesson — every unfamiliar word becomes a small, solvable puzzle.
