King Sejong — Letters for the People

세종대왕은 조선의 네 번째 왕이에요.King Sejong was the fourth king of Joseon.

왕은 백성들이 글자를 쉽게 배우고 쓰기 위해서 한글을 만드셨어요.The king made Hangeul so that the people could easily learn and write characters.

그 전에는 한자를 사용해서 배우기가 어려웠어요.Before that, learning was difficult because Chinese characters were used.
